A Sign of Affection

1. What did you love about the way the relationship developed?

My favorite thing about the way the relationship developed is the fact that it felt genuine and not forced despite it happening quickly.  When I say quickly I don't mean that they were immediately in love first episode it wasn't even the first three episodes what I mean is I really appreciate that this strayed away from the typical romance anime where you only get to see them having a crush on each other and that relationship developing instead of them being a couple but in this anime you not only get to see them develop a friendship and get to know each other but you also get to see them date and grow together in their relationship in just a few episodes and I really liked that about this anime.

Another thing I really loved is how the two characters were so fascinated with each other and they were so different but had a lot in common. They weren't two people you would expect to be together or really even be friends but because they had these kinds of natures about the both of them it kind of made them perfect for one another and I appreciated that.

2. What do you think the show was trying to say about understanding someone else's world?

I think the show was really saying to embrace that there are people different from you and to explore those differences.  I really liked that the two characters liked what made them different from one another and used that to get closer and that's partly why they were perfect for each other.

I also think that the show was trying to say that love can be unexpected and you may find it in unexpected places. It's important not to look too hard but it's also important not to shy away from it.

3. What did this anime make you feel or think about love and relationships?

This anime  made me so giddy and it was so adorable.  I really enjoyed the relationship dynamic of friends to lovers and another thing that I loved is how the male main character didn't shy away from his feelings and  it wasn't one of those stories where it was difficult to bloom into a relationship for the both of them.

I also really liked that the two main characters, despite being different didn't feel the need to change who they were for one another and instead they changed in positive ways and what they felt for each other made them more bold and more willing to take risks in who they were.

I really did enjoy this anime and I do recommend it for anyone who just wants a cute little show to watch one night and I think anyone could enjoy it. There's so much I didn't talk about in this short little review but it was not only cute but it gave me appreciation for the deaf community and for people that are different from me and it made me see disabilities differently.  It also had its funny moments which I think it's great in any little romance.

Let me know if any of you have watched it before!

Thanks for reading! 🌸
